This system provides a cost effective and simple to use light gate and millisecond timer for use with linear air tracks and measuring “G by Free Fall” Each light gate has 4 threaded holes in various horizontal planes to accept a threaded rod for use in a clamp stand. 2 rods are supplied 80mm long and 10mm dia. Ideal for use with dynamics trolleys and linear air tracks to measure speed, these units can also be used in pairs to measure acceleration. An attached rod allows the apparatus to be mounted above an air track, dynamics track etc. and the unit incorporates an integral 5 LCD digital display.
